Our Nursery mentoring service is for nurseries looking to improve the service they provide the children. Our focus is on adapting the resources the nursery already has and developing staff and teaching them how to guide the children through activities to initiate a child led approach. Our Nursery Mentor will work on site at the nursery setting and will be available for all staff. All our mentor's have previous nursery management experience and listed below are some of the aspects our Nursery Mentor can help with:-
- Helping staff to take ownership of their individual rooms
- Developing staff and providing ideas of activities with the nurseries available resources
- Planning and observations
- Understanding how to provide freedom of choice for the children
- Helping the nursery to develop their own monitoring system allowing nurseries to evaluate their own practices
