Area Managers
Duties: Ensuring full support is provided to Nursery Managers and ensuring all standards are met within a group of nurseries. Advising nursery managers with regards to budgets, finance, business development etc, as well as monitoring all areas such as finance, standards, and general day to day running of each nursery. Car drivers are essential as there is a lot of traveling involved.
Qualifications: NNEB, HNC, BTEC, NVQ3, SVQ3, CQSN, CACHE3, teaching certificate; together with PDA, degree in childcare or SVQ/NVQ4 with a minimum 5 years' experience fully qualified experience and 3 years' relevant managerial experience.
Duties:Â Day to day running of nursery, ensuring the safety of children within the nursery, preparing and meeting budgets, applying for grants, business development, staff recruitment and retention, staff training, staff discipline, monitoring quality of care for the children, liaising with external organisations, maintaining a high level of record keeping for all areas of the nursery
Qualifications: NNEB, HNC, BTEC, NVQ3, SVQ3, CQSN, CACHE3 teaching certificate; together with (or be willing to work towards) PDA, degree in childcare or SVQ/NVQ4 with a minimum 2 years' experience fully qualified experience and 2 years' relevant supervisory experience.
Nursery Business Development Managers
Duties: overseeing business development of nurseries; sourcing various ways of marketing the nursery; advising nursery managers on best ways to market their nursery; maintaining and creating excellent business relationships with outside agencies; attending networking events etc. Applicants must have a proven track record in a previous business development role. Experience working within a nursery environment would be an advantage.
Deputy Managers
Responsibilities: Assisting the Nursery Manager with the day to day management of the nursery and taking responsibility for management of the nursery in their absence; liaising with external agencies, supervision of staff; maintaining a high level of care for children in the nursery
Qualifications required: NNEB, HNC, NVQ3/SVQ3, BTEC, CACHE3 or equivalent, minimum 2 years' fully qualified experience and relevant supervisory experience.
